Learning Objective:<\/b> to be able to determine the non-functional requirements of your folio project.<\/p>\n

SAT:<\/i> Reminder: there is a SAT checkpoint this week. Work in progress on your SRS will be checked on Wednesday.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Theory:<\/i><\/p>\n

No new theory, just a discussion of non-functional requirements as part of your SRS. I will be absent for Monday\u2019s class.<\/p>\n

Programming:<\/i><\/p>\n

Create a user interface for a search box.<\/p>\n

\n
There should be a text entry box for putting in a key word, and a button to initiate the search.<\/li>\n
Use the word list given to you for the hangman game earlier this year.<\/li>\n
When pressing \u201csearch\u201d, check all of the words in the world list to see if the word is there.<\/li>\n
For each word checked, increment a counter \u201cx\u201d to keep track of how many words you had to look at before you found (or didn\u2019t find) the word.<\/li>\n
If the word is present, display \u201cword found after checking x words\u201d in a label in the user interface.<\/li>\n
If the word isn\u2019t present, display \u201cword not found in x words checked\u201d in a label in the user interface, where x is the total number of words searched.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
